Abby Enfinger, Director of Event Sales & Conference Services

Abby recently joined our team after moving from Madison, MS to Auburn with her family. Abby brings a wealth of knowledge in event sales through owning and operating a restaurant /event venue in Mississippi with her husband. Prior to their restaurant venture, she was the Southeast Regional Director for a non-profit organization and has worked as Event Director for local country clubs and hotels. Abby is responsible for the planning and management of events within the College of Architecture, Design & Construction, Eduction & Liberal Arts, along with Local & Regional Corporate.

Alex Taylor, Conference Services Manager

Alex began working at the Hotel in March 2014 as the Sales Administrative Assistant.  Alex was promoted to Conference Services Manager in 2017 and is responsible for the planning and management of events within the College of Engineering, Vet Med, Forestry, School of Pharmacy and The College of Agriculture along with events at the ALFA Pavilion. Alex also is responsible for corporate groups as well as all sporting groups.

Anna Kent, Senior Catering Sales Manager

Anna graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Business Administration. With her extensive background in Hospitality, Anna accepted the job as Catering Sales Manager in the spring of 2014. Anna is responsible for all social events including Weddings, Military Events, Religious, Fraternal & Non-University Events. In addition to in-house events, Anna is responsible for Catering to You, which includes both full-service & drop off catering.

Jeff Schwieker, Senior Sales Manager

Jeff received a degree in marketing from Auburn University Montgomery. He joined the team as a Group Sales Manager in December 2011. Jeff is responsible for the College of Ag, Business, Education, & the School of Nursing, along with the Office of Development, Communications & Marketing, & Alumni Affairs. In addition, Jeff works with all sporting teams and local & regional corporate groups.

Scott Norrell, Conference Services Manager

Scott is a graduate of Auburn University (‘13) with a degree in Business Administration. He comes to us from the Columbus Convention & Trade Center, where he was responsible for the management and operations of conferences, conventions, concerts, as well as corporate, social, military, religious, and all athletic events.

Scott joined the team in May 2018. He is responsible for the College of Human Sciences, Business, & COSAM, along with the School of Nursing & VCOM. He also manages all Association business and Athletic Recruiting.

Sheila Daughtry, Group Sales Manager

Sheila was part of the hotel’s 1988 opening team and has worked in various areas of the hotel over the past 25+ years. She is currently the Group Sales Manager and is responsible for University departments such as the College of Engineering, COSAM, Human Sciences, Liberal Arts, Architecture & Design, Forestry, School of Pharmacy, Vet Med, Board of Trustees, Office of the Vice President, & Student Affairs. Sheila also books all association business at the hotel.

Tara Harbison, Executive Meeting Sales Manager

Tara is a 2007 graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Marketing. She joined the Sales Team as the Executive Meetings Sales Manager in January of 2016. She is responsible for all small groups that are less than 90 days to arrival. Tara also books events in A*T Ariccia Trattoria's private dining space.

Todd Scholl, Director of Sales & Marketing

Todd brings with him nearly 25 years of extensive sales experience from nationally renowned hospitality brands and destination marketing organizations. In addition to his professional experience Todd is an active Chamber member, coaches youth sports teams and enjoys his family when not at the hotel.  Prior to joining The Hotel at Auburn University, Scholl opened Hotel Sorella Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri as the Director of Sales & Marketing.  He was also the director of the sales and marketing departments for the Elms Hotel & Spa in Excelsior Springs, Missouri and the Hyatt Regency Tulsa, the largest hotel in Oklahoma. Todd spent seven years working with The Peabody Hotel in Little Rock, Arkansas. During his tenure in Little Rock he oversaw all sales, catering, reservations, public relations and marketing staff, driving more than $26 million in hotel revenue annually and eventually achieving the Forbes Four-Star designation, the first in the State of Arkansas.
