The Coach Flo Show to Broadcast Live from Piccolo Starting January 14th
AUBURN, AL (January 11, 2013) – Terri Williams-Flournoy, Auburn University’s head women's basketball coach, will be broadcasting her Coach Flo Show with Andy Burcham live from Piccolo starting on Monday, January 14, 2012 from 6-7 p.m. Tiger fans will have the opportunity to participate in the show and enjoy delicious Italian cuisine while watching the program, which will take place every Monday until March 4, 2012.
“It is so exciting to be a part of the Coach Flo Show with Andy Burcham. It is an honor for Piccolo to serve as the broadcast location for the program,” says Hans Van der Reijden, Managing Director of The Hotel at Auburn University. “We look forward to connecting newer fans and alumni to the women’s basketball team. During the broadcast you can feel the energy coming from everyone as they discuss the upcoming games.”
The hour-long radio show invites Tiger fans to the restaurant to hear commentary on the women’s basketball team’s upcoming games, while also providing audience members with the opportunity to ask Coach Williams-Flournoy questions about the 2013 season. Each week fans will also get a chance to hear Andy Burcham interview one of Ariccia’s chefs or a member of the executive team about the latest happenings at Ariccia Trattoria & Bar, Piccolo and The Hotel at Auburn University.

Piccolo celebrates third year with bash
This weekend, on Aug. 24-25, Piccolo, the lounge inside Ariccia, will celebrate its third year with a Big Birthday Bash. The party will begin each evening at 4 p.m. and will include live music from Alabama and Georgia jazz talent and three complimentary small bites for each guest with the purchase of their favorite cocktail.
The live music will begin each evening at 8 p.m. with Kenyon Carter, Tim Chambliss, Jason DeBlanc, and Geoffrey Haydon performing on Friday, and Mike Pendowski, Tim Chambliss, Sidney Simmons, and Jonathan Lynn performing on Saturday evening. During the festive event, Piccolo will also unveil its creative, new small bites menu.

In honor of Piccolo’s third birthday, party goers will receive a complimentary small bite trio featuring a Salmon & Avocado Roll, a Goat Cheese “Marshmallow,” and a Chilled Champagne & Cucumber Shot with the purchase of a cocktail. These treats will help usher in Piccolo’s new small bites menu. Inspired by the diverse backgrounds of the chefs at Piccolo, the new menu will feature savory and sweet items influenced by cuisine from around the world.
