Allyson Sandusky, Conference Services Manger
Allyson is a graduate of the Auburn University Hotel & Restaurant Management program & began working as a banquet server at the hotel in 2012. After graduating, Allyson joined the hotel’s Leadership Development program where she gained experience from every department within the hotel, before accepting the job as a Conference Services manager in 2014. As a Conference Services manager, Allyson is responsible for the planning & management of association & government events as well as events within the Colleges of Business, Education, Engineering, Liberal Arts, Architecture and Design & COSAM.

Anna Kent, Catering Sales Manager
Anna graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Business Administration. With her extensive background in Hospitality, Anna accepted the job as Catering Sales Manager in the spring of 2014. Anna is responsible for all social events including Weddings, Military Events, Religious, Fraternal & Non-University Events. In addition to in-house events, Anna is responsible for Catering to You, which includes both full-service & drop off catering.

Jeff Schwieker, Group Sales Manager
Jeff received a degree in marketing from Auburn University Montgomery.
He joined the team as a Group Sales Manager in December 2011. Jeff is responsible for the College of Ag, Business, Education, & the School of Nursing, along with the Office of Development, Communications & Marketing, & Alumni Affairs. In addition, Jeff works with all sporting teams and local & regional corporate groups.

Joice Milare, Transient Sales Manager
Joice began working at the hotel in August 2012 as the Executive Assistant to the Managing Director. Through her experience as the Executive Assistant she gained valuable experience that lead to her transition into her current position as Transient Sales Manager. Joice works with the hotel’s corporate accounts for business travelers.

Marlena Gillis, Senior Conference Services Manager
Marlena is a graduate of the Auburn University Hotel & Restaurant Management program & began working as the Sales & Marketing Assistant at the hotel in 2013. Marlena was promoted to Conference Services Manager in 2014 and is responsible for the planning & management of events within the Office of the Provost, Vice President Office, Board of Trustees, The College of Nursing, and The College of Agriculture along with EMBA, PEMBA, & MRED. Marlena also is responsible for corporate groups as well as all sporting groups.

Sheila Daughtry, Group Sales Manager
Sheila was part of the hotel’s 1988 opening team and has worked in various areas of the hotel over the past 25+ years. She is currently the Group Sales Manager and is responsible for University departments such as the College of Engineering, COSAM, Human Sciences, Liberal Arts, Architecture & Design, Forestry, School of Pharmacy, Vet Med, Board of Trustees, Office of the Vice President, & Student Affairs. Sheila also books all association business at the hotel.

Tara Harbison, Executive Meeting Sales Manager
Tara recently joined the Sales Team as the Executive Meetings Sales Manager. She is responsible for all small groups that are less than 90 days to arrival. Tara also books events in A*T Ariccia Trattoria's private dining space.

Todd Scholl, Director of Sales & Marketing
Todd brings with him nearly 25 years of extensive sales experience from nationally renowned hospitality brands and destination marketing organizations. In addition to his professional experience Todd is an active Chamber member, coaches youth sports teams and enjoys his family when not at the hotel. Prior to joining The Hotel at Auburn University, Scholl opened Hotel Sorella Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri as the Director of Sales & Marketing. He was also the director of the sales and marketing departments for the Elms Hotel & Spa in Excelsior Springs, Missouri and the Hyatt Regency Tulsa, the largest hotel in Oklahoma. Todd spent seven years working with The Peabody Hotel in Little Rock, Arkansas. During his tenure in Little Rock he oversaw all sales, catering, reservations, public relations and marketing staff, driving more than $26 million in hotel revenue annually and eventually achieving the Forbes Four-Star designation, the first in the State of Arkansas.
