On Property Events
At the Hotel at Auburn University, we have new local events occurring in house week after week. With a rich history, and prime location, Auburn offers a premier backdrop for our on property events.
Ariccia's new à la carte Sunday brunch menu is filled with traditional and unique breakfast, brunch and lunch favorites for diners to enjoy from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests can get creative with $5 Build-Your-Own Bloody Marys and Mimosas. A Sweets of the Day station will offer a special dessert option each week.
Reservations for brunch are recommended and can be made by calling 334-844-5140.
Start the week off right with M3 Mondays at Ariccia. Beginning at 3 p.m., guests can enjoy $5 specialty mojitos, martinis and margaritas. Enjoy the cool fall evenings with a cocktail on Ariccia’s newly renovated patio.
Tuesday Night Pasta Bar
Every Tuesday night, head to Ariccia to mix and match ingredients to create your own perfect pasta dish. Choose from four homemade pastas, a variety of sauces, and gourmet toppings.

Wine nights have moved to Wednesday! Enjoy half-priced bottles of select wines showcasing six different grape varietals in Ariccia.

Hell's Kitchen Viewing Party
Fernando Cruz, the Executive Chef at The Hotel at Auburn University, will be one of 18 chefs to compete in Season 13 of Hell's Kitchen on FOX.
The hotel will host a weekly viewing party in Piccolo on Wednesdays from 7-8pm. Guests can watch the show live and interact with Chef Fernando.
The viewing party is first come, first serve and Chef Fernando will prepare a limited number of signature dishes so make sure to come early!
In addition to Wine Wednesday half price bottles of wine, Piccolo will also offer $3 draft beer.
Bartender of the Year Regional Competition
The Alabama Restaurant and Hospitality Alliance (ARHA), Casamigos Tequila, Barenjager Honey Liquor, and American Harvest Vodka are looking for the best bartenders in Alabama. By competing on October 1, 2014, at The Hotel at Auburn University in Auburn, one of the regional contests held around the state, you not only have a chance to be crowned Gulf Coast’s Bartender of the Year, but as the winner, you will also compete on October 27th in Auburn against other city winners to take home the $2,000 grand prize, and have access to the coveted “Bartender of the Year” trophy until next year’s contest.
This year’s city hosts, Auburn-Opelika CVB and The Hotel at Auburn University, plan to make this open to the public contest one you won’t want to miss. There may be some additional surprises for the top finishers.
The winner in the Auburn-Opelika Region will be invited to compete in the State Bartender of the Year Contest, this year, held on October 27, 2014, at The Hotel at Auburn University in Auburn. The regional winners will compete in the afternoon using a similar format to the city competition, and the top three finishers will compete for the grand prize at the reception that evening. Winners will be announced at the conclusion of the Hospitality Stars of Alabama dinner.

Ariccia's Beer Dinners highlight craft beer from a local/regional brewery and are paired with a delicious four course meal which compliments each brew. The dinners are held in the private dining room in Ariccia and begin at 6:00pm.

Tour d'Italia Cooking Classes
Take a culinary adventure with Executive Chef Fernando Cruz as he hosts a private Cooking Class in the beautifully redesigned private dining room, Enoteca. Guests will get hands on experience in preparing traditional Italian cuisine while enjoying wines from different regions in Italy.
Classes are $125 and include hands on culinary experience from Chef Fernando, a three course dinner, wine pairings, and a special gift basket for you to take home. ($125 includes tax & gratuity)
The classes begin at 6:30 and last approximately 3 hours.
